For me unity is the most beautiful and polished linux interface and with more usability than gnome3. With a more simple and direct interface, Ubuntu/unity would be more accessible to new users who do not have much computer skills and wants a computer for routine tasks.<br /><br />For me the proof of that is the windows10 and his new classical menu.
